The Fool is not bound by the narrow limitations of the mind.
When in doubt or feeling uncertain, invite the Fool to see things clearly. The Fool approaches the situation without a preconceived notion as to what it is or what the outcome should be. The Fool will, without a doubt, offer a fresh perspective every time. Where your thoughts are rigid, so are your attitudes and your perceptions. The Fool with his soft and flexible mind will see through the cracks of your rigidity and see the light of a situation that you are unable to see. The Fool is a friend to all and will share his genius if asked for it.
The Fool is not afraid to shed his skin with no notice whatsoever in order to try on some new skin, to begin life anew without fear or remorse for what he or she has left behind.
Always ask, “What would the Fool do?” The answer is the truest and most pure wisdom, for the Fool will see right through into what is real and honest in the situation. The Fool will not be taken in by the masks of ego and social conditioning. The Fool will see the heart of the situation. “What would The Fool do?”
The other archetypes will employ the Fool. A Fool in the employ of the Hermit? What would the Fool do in the employ of the Magician? The Priestess? The Emperor? The Empress? Etc.?
When the student is ready, The Fool will appear. Now, life truly begins in earnest.
The fool is called into action at his Awakening. The voices one hears, the gut feelings, the impulses to do the irrational- this is the Fool archetype calling you to action.
As The Fool, it is up to you to remind people of the infinite possibilities that exist for them.
If you are stuck on a problem and are having little or no luck finding a workable solution, invite a Fool to take a look at the problem. The perspective he or she will give you will be fresh and innovative. If the solution he has offered you is one you have given thought to yourself, consider it validation. The validation of a Fool is powerful validation indeed.
I follow no prescribed spiritual path. The path I am on is blazed by me. I watch and I observe. I see what fits and I incorporate those. I answer to no one but my higher self. I share what I know but I do not preach. If my knowings fit your doctrine, that is wonderful. If it does not, that is fine as well. I seek no controversy, only acceptance and understanding. This is a Fool’s spirituality.
The Fool takes a leap of faith. Often times, the landing is gentle. Other times, he crashes to the rocks below. This is seldom a fatal crash, only an opportunity for growth and the learning and integration of important lessons.
The Fool is an alchemist, transforming fear and sadness into fuel for The Chariot.
The becoming of a Fool begins with the softening of the mind (surrendering the ego) softening the heart to let divine light in, and your own light out for the world to experience, the Universe to experience. This is the beginning of The Fool’s journey to enlightenment.
Nobody told the Fool’s heart what it couldn’t do, so The Fool did it. Or maybe somebody did tell the Fool’s heart the things it couldn’t do, but the Fool, hearing, chose not to listen and did these things anyway. The Fool is capable of a great many things undoable and unknowable to others because he or she is unaware of, or not accepting of the things he or she can not do. This makes the Fool divine. Divine Fools. The Divinity of Fools.
Mistakes are what make a person great, for they are the greatest teachers offering the greatest lessons.
A failure is somebody who doesn’t even try.
Choose to have a positive life experience on Earth. Notice I used the word “choose.” This is because it is a choice for you to make. Make this decision for yourself.
Evolution will not occur if people refuse to hear. For the evolution that is afoot will be accomplished by those willing and able to surrender ego and allow for spirit to lift them. Refusing to hear is a refusal of spirit in all forms.
The path you are on is the path you are on no matter what. The thing that distinguishes it is your perception of what you see and what you find.
“Enlightenment”- to be made light. When you are light you are able to fly. When you are not light you are subjected to gravity. You can not fly when gravity has such an effect on you. Gravity pulls you down when you are burdened by extra weight. Shed the extra weight of burdens and troubles of your thoughts. Then you will be enlightened. Then you will fly.
That which serves you in life, you will one day have to transcend as you absorb all that it has for you. Pay attention to these things.
Be an example of what you wish to achieve, not just a wanter of it.
Staying on the path is never difficult because we never lose sight of the path. We may feel we, from time to time, that we have lost the path, but the truth is, the path is always under our feet. Sometimes there is mist in the air that prevents us from seeing our feet, but the earth is always under it. Sometimes we must venture towards areas of the path that seem foreign or strange to us, and because we don’t recognize where we are we assume we have strayed, but truthfully, that is simply the landscape for that stretch of earth.
Always stay at your level or rise to levels above. Do not sink to a lower level for anyone’s sake.
You have one very distinct advantage in life, and that is, you are you, and with that you bring to every situation your unique set of experiences from all you have collected from this life as well as the many lives you have lived previously. Think about that. Your unique wisdom and knowings will give you the advantage in any situation. The trick is to see your uniqueness, to identify your unique knowings and knowing how to apply it. It will benefit you, it will benefit human kind. As you apply what you know, you expand the awareness of the situation many fold. As it expands it will touch others. They will apply their unique knowings to it in a likewise fashion. This is wisdom. This is the growth of knowledge. This is the evolution of the human species. You are responsible for it. You make it happen. In this way, you are amazing. In this way, you have a distinct advantage- you are you.

Without the Fool’s energy and the Fool’s willingness, mankind will not evolve. The world needs as many Fools as it can awaken.
Explore your boundaries. Find where they are and go beyond them. Scary? At first, sure. But the farther away you travel from them the easier the journey becomes until you forget those boundaries ever existed at all which reveals them to be what they are- artificial constraints designed by the ego to keep itself from having to redefine itself.
Fear is a mechanism of the ego to keep itself from having to redefine itself, as I said in the previous entry here.
Evolution does not happen in times of struggle but in times of ease and lightness. Do not struggle to take energy from somebody. This slows down evolution for all. Be easy and light. Allow the energy to flow. It is in the flow that we will evolve as a species, not in the struggle. Allow for the flow of energy both ways, to you and from you. If others are not struggling to take it from you, you will enjoy the flow of it. It is when they grasp onto it and try to yank it out of you that the struggle begins. This is counter productive to evolution. Do not accept it.
There is no final destination on this journey. Only places rest awhile. Everywhere you go, there is something to be learned, something to be gained. Enjoy and appreciate each step take. You are growing stronger. Soon, your feet will leave the ground as you finally learn to fly. Your wings are sprouting. Know this.
Only a true fool can achieve enlightenment, for when one is light, does one see “The Light.” Like attracts like, remember. To become light, one must shed the ego and peel away the masks and layers of social conditioning. While the ego is in control, this shedding will never occur. Only when the ego is let go of will this shedding occur. The Fool is adept at letting go of the ego. The Fool is adept at peeling away the layers of social conditioning. To become enlightened, become a Fool first.
The excitement is in the learning, though integration has its own rewards.
A spirit without a human form is a stagnant entity. Growth and understanding and knowledge come about through the five senses and through the filters in place of the physical form. This is why we incarnate upon the earth and yes, and beyond as well. So much more of this going to make sense to many in a short time.
One of the first steps on one’s spiritual journey is to start asking questions. How do you know you are on a spiritual path? You know you are on a spiritual path because you notice things and you seek answers as to what they are and what these things are that you are experiencing.
Who you have always been is who you still are. From lifetime to lifetime, incarnation to incarnation, to incarnation, you have always been you.
Live as a kite kept from flying high by the short string of anger. Cut the string and let the kite fly where it will.
If you are not enjoying the music, listen to the song in your head. Close your eyes and dance on the moon.
It’s what a Fool does. He searches for new beginnings. When he doesn’t like the circumstances of a situation, it is not uncommon for the Fool to completely wipe away the situation for an entirely new beginning. This is what the Fool is capable of- New 0’s.. New starting points. Fresh starts.
A true fool will go for a go for broke spiritual awakening, not afraid to do what ever the hell it takes to find the missing pieces and get them integrated into the self.
Frustration is knowing you know what everybody wants to know and trying to tell them, but they will not listen or be willing to do what you suggest they do because they would rather do things to weigh them down rather than become light.
Awakening- hearing and understanding and accepting that you chose to incarnate with the intention to create and to learn and to share and learn lessons.
“Other wise.” “Other”- separate from self. Separate from mind. Separate from ego. “Wise.” Wisdom . Knowings. Knowledge. What do you know from outside your ego mind?
The job of the Fool is to listen, decipher, understand, share.
The tarot’s fool card shows both the Fool and his dog. Sometimes you are the Fool. Sometimes you are the dog.
