Card of the Day- December 7, 2012

2 of Swords

What are you really feeling? What is the truth about what you have going on inside? Be honest with yourself about this. Don’t deny any feelings. People around you are probably wanting honest and direct communication with you. How will they get this if you are holding back? Be open to equanimity. Listen and understand what others need to communicate, and be willing to communicate back to them without withholding important information. Open up. Be receptive. Be giving. Create a harmonious flow of communication even if what you need to say makes you feel uncomfortable. Fight through that discomfort and say what you need to say.

Card of the Day- May 19, 2012

2 of Swords

You can’t be shy today. Don’t back down from what you need to communicate. You may feel intimidated by others, but this all in your mind. You are equal to them. Stand your ground. What you have to say is important, so make sure you are heard. Speaking your mind will open the channel for conversation and discussion. Listen to what others have to say in response and give it consideration. Through this, a meeting of the minds will occur and in the best case scenario, synergy will be produced. In the worst case scenario, you will be disregarded. But even so, it is now known that you are somebody with ideas and that these ideas are worth at least considering. Whatever is on your mind, speak it!

2 of Swords: A Balanced Mind

Two is a number of balance. One is in harmony with the other one and they compliment each other. They support each other and give one another something to lean against. Keep this in mind and remember that the suit of swords in tarot represent our mental capacities and the overall workings of our mind.

What does it mean to have a balance of the mind? Do your thoughts balance one another, or is there a degree of conflict in what you are considering or thinking? Are you able to make up your mind and not be easily swayed from your decision? The ability to focus on a decision and come to a sound conclusion is a quality of the two of swords.
