Your value is appreciated. You bring unique talents and perspectives to any given situation. These unique talents and perspectives open a wide vista of possibilities that would not otherwise present their selves. People pick up on this. They see you as important and fundamental to the situation at hand. Lend yourself to this task. The support you need  will be there. Never doubt that, for it is always true. Keep doing what you do to bring light and clarity to a situation. You do this effortlessly by simply following your impulses and striving for perfection. In this way, you are a leader. But you need not strive to lead. Simply strive to be. Be the best you are able to be. From this simple action, you will accomplish greatness and amass an array of diversified followers.

You know your ideas are good, and guess what? So do others. Even though you pursue your goals and passions for their own sake, and for your own sake without  the need of external validation from others, that doesn’t mean that others will not be supportive. When somebody sees a good idea, and that somebody is actually pursuing it and following though to make it an actuality, of course they will get excited over it. Take note of this today. What are you working on that other people are noticing? Know that you are on the right track, doing something worthwhile.

Dream. Dreams can keep you alive. Dreams can give you something to look forward to when feeling down. Set a goal and work towards that goal. Each step towards that goal is a step out of the depression you may have been feeling. Before you know it, that depression is no longer relevant. You begin to see it for all it ever was- a temporary circumstance-induced state of being. Intrinsic to your true nature? No. Only fleeting. Only passing. The 4 of wands invites you to set your sights on a far horizon and begin the journey towards it. It is likely that you have been doing this for awhile now. This card reminds you today that it is not for nothing. You are making progress. Keep doing what you are doing. It is good.

Card of the Day- May 17, 2012

4 of Wands

It is time to receive your congratulations. You’ve earned it. You deserve it. Following your impulses, your brilliance, your ideas, has paid off. You didn’t listen to anybody (external or internal) who told you what you can not or should not do. You’ve listened to your own inner-guidance system and it has lead you to a very good place. If nobody else will do it, pat your self on the back. Celebrate. If nobody will celebrate with you, celebrate by yourself for yourself. It is important to mark milestones on your journey. They mark your achievements and your accomplishments. It may be that these are entirely invisible to anybody but you, but how does that matter? It doesn’t. This is YOUR life. This is YOUR journey. You know what constitutes an achievement to you as a unique human being, so celebrate these achievements! Reflect on where you have been and where you are and offer a toast to yourself. You richly deserve it.
